Today I worked on the smoketest for my X/O laptop. Most of it was pretty straight forward, but connecting to the internet here was really annoying. I couldn’t get my laptop to connect to WPA2, but I was able to get it to connect to the open RIT connection after going through the hassle of registering it on start.rit.edu and then waiting for the 45 minutes for my laptop to update. It was pretty boring going through all of these steps. I worked with Rich on the multi-user part of the smoke test. I changed the name of my laptop to Digby. I also found out that the person that owned the laptop before me was one of my friends who took this class last semester.
